So, It has been a productive couple of days after celebrating Independence Week, thanks to Bono. I took some time off of art making to enjoy some quality time with friends and my husband John. We took in summerfest 3 nights in a row, saw three ball games in a week, and headed to Chicago for a spontaneous get-a-way to see U2. After that, I needed some time to recover. Got back into it by painting on Saturday. The above paintings are based off of mri images. I love the softness and the ways the colors blend. These work quite well for my vision, and I will look forward to playing with these and layering them. Off to find more images!
